Ya wanna drink some snake?

I don't know the actual name of this village, but it's about 30 minutes outside of Luang Prabang, and all the buses that go to Pak Ou cave stop here, to give the locals a chance to sell tourists their goods. Their most sought after product is "Lao Lao", home brewed rice whiskey.

And here's the little shop you pull up to. You've got snake spice filled whiskey, you've got red and white rice wine, you've got plain bottles and hand woven and wrapped souvenir bottles.

They also sell hand made fabrics.
