What is Zadan?

I believe that our minds are capable of seeing more clearly if we open then and allow them to see than they are if we force them. This page is simply that, presenting things involving the mind, the world, art and music.

ZADAN is a Japanese word that means "Allowing the mind to see through the illusions of the world to see reality as it truly is."

So, here, I present ideas, images, sounds and hope that on some level they will help people see themselves and life more clearly.

Deeper than that, to see how all things are interdependently unified. Reality is not a collection of isolated phenomenon, but a living whole. As such we should learn to see how deeply our sense of self is only conditional, and can be extended to feel a sense of self that includes all.

Zadan also seeks, on a more worldly level, to bring awareness of diversity of cultures and perspectives that exist, and to support local economies in developing nations that allow them to ease into the modern world without losing their traditional values, beliefs and family structures (for more info see the Support Page).
